If Money Were No Object

With the metaphors that Robert Frost used in his poem, the idea I got was that he
was trying to persuade people to do what they liked . If money was no object, people
would be sincere. If money was no object, there would be no poverty and crimes. If
money was no object, I could be me. The world, this society would not worry about the
little things such as your clothes, house or the alike but look at the bigger picture. We
would no longer be blinded by our own selfish greed and instead look at the beauty of
this world. If money were no object, I would be a composer and make a cause called
“Music for a Change”.
Robert Frost: “I cannot rub the strangeness from my sight, I got from looking
through a pane of glass”. Looking at yourself doing something you hate, you are like a
robot. You keep doing things you do not like and are not living life to its fullest. You are
just an empty shell that is barely living only working for the pleasure of having money to
spend. Frost portrayed this by using metaphors I his poem “After Apple Picking”. The
message conveyed was doing something just for the money is absolutely stupid.
Money. What exactly is it? Well let me answer that. It is something that some
ignorant idiot made to make himself seem better than everyone else. If I were able to be a
composer , my life would have been inspirational, a life changer. It would help people
who were emotionally , mentally, or physically hurt a good smile. Something to give
them hope. Frost: “Upon my way to sleep before it fell , I could tell what form my
dreaming was about to take” . I believe that I am dreaming right now and I will soon
wake up to a different world. A world that is free of judgement. A world where not
everything is based on your social status and yearly income. A world where money is not
the most important thing in a family’s life. This world would not be nearly as confusing.
If money were no object, and I could be anything in this crazy world, I would be a
composer and make my cause. My organization will help people who are easily
influenced to follow my footsteps and be themselves. They will feel hope. They will
know it. I will be the leader of the army and I will lead an entire group of people.
Because in a world where money does not exist, what else would anyone want to be but
themselves? In a world where money is not an object , choose to be yourself.
